Ho Ho Ho Review

So, Christmas is over and it was great! I also turned 2 months old, so it was time for my monthly report. I figured that since I am a practical girl, I would combine posts. Over the last month, I have been on 4 airplane rides, met numerous family members, gotten together with some new friends, and even saw Santa Claus. I'm working on holding my head up, and I'm growing like crazy. At my doctors appointment, I weighed 10 pounds and am almost 22 inches long! Now I get to wear even more of my cute clothes, but I had to kiss some of the smaller ones goodbye. Here are a few pictures I took along the way...ok, I was just in them, but they're still awesome.

Ho Ho Ho (preview)

The holidays are in full swing and Lily has been sporting all of her Christmas outfits. She is getting so strong and she is holding her head up for quite a long stretch (for an 8 week old). Here are a few new shots of the little girlie. More to come!

Santa does what?? Awesome!

Merry Christmas!!

Holding up your head is hard work...How do you people do it all the time?

Blue Skies

Lily has been a busy girl lately! She took her first plane trip to Dallas, went to the zoo for the first time, and met her Aunt Karen, Cousin Luke and Great Grandma Margaret. Here are a few pictures from her recent adventures.

Thanksgiving

Lily had a great Thanksgiving with the Cribari family. She watched attentively as we ate turkey, stuffing and all the fixins. Then we gave her a big, warm bottle of formula. Mmmmm. Someday when she has teeth she'll be able to join in the feast! She seems like she's getting bigger by the minute, so we are always taking pictures. She posed with her cousin, Nettie for a few shots. Nettie was very concerned that Lily didn't smile, but we assured her she will be smiling soon. We also had a brief photo session this evening to try to capture some of the funny faces that she constantly makes! We hope everyone had a great holiday and now we're on to Christmas!

One Month and Counting

So, I've been here for a month and things have been going well so far! I've gotten used to my parents, my house and my dog, Ruby...or Ruby is getting used to me. I've learned that with enough yelling I can usually get what I want, and what I usually want is to be held all day. I like to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed instead of my cradle, and I usually order my meals every three hours. From what I've been told, I'm completely adorable and no other baby has ever been so beautiful. I'm not trying to brag - I'm just repeating what others have said. I'll be back next month!

Photo update

Just a few new pictures of the little girl. We had our first snowfall of the season this morning, so naturally, it was time for Lily to don her new sweater from Uncle Stephen and Michelle! Paul also managed to catch a smile.

And now for the other side of the same baby...

Eyes wide open

Its been a few days since the last post, so it was time for some new pictures! Its been tricky to get pictures of Lily with her eyes open, but I managed to get a couple. She decided that she'd had enough of the photo shoot so she stuck her tongue out at me!

The first two weeks

Things in the Cribari household are clipping right along. Lily is changing by the day, and we are changing her by the hour! We took advantage of a great day earlier in the week and took Lily for her first walk around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, we didn't consult her meal schedule before we left, so it was a short walk...

Here are a few other cute pictures of the most beautiful girl in the world!

Welcome to the World, Lily

Hi there! My name is Lily, and welcome to my blog! I was born on October 22, 2008. I weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce and I was 20 inches long. I can't type all that well yet, so my Mommy is going to take care of things for me. Here is her picture:

My Daddy is pretty great, too. Here we are going home from the hospital:

There will be plenty of posts because my parents can't seem to stop taking pictures. So far here is what's been going on.

day 1 - My grand entrance
day 2 - Still tired from the move
day 3 - a car ride, a new home and clothes!
days 4 & 5 - strange dreams about a blue light table and a big stuffed sheep
since then - sleep, eat, spit up & other unmentionables

Things are going great! Please check in often!
